Abstract
Angular distributions from to the ground state and the 4.44-, 7.66-, 9.65-, 10.85-, 11.84-, and 12.71-MeV states of were measured at a deuteron energy of 4 MeV, and those of the 12.71-, 13.29-, 14.08- and 15.11-MeV states were obtained at 7.2 MeV. The nearly symmetric individual and summed distributions suggest that the statistical model of the compound nucleus applies to this reaction. An additional two-nucleon pickup contribution accounts for small frontal peaking at 7.2 MeV. The 10.1-MeV level was not observed. A width of 355±50 keV was measured for the 13.29-MeV state.
