The probability for transitions between the first 2+ and the first 0+ excited states of O16

Abstract

The probability for γ-transitions from the 6.92 MeV 2+ state in O16 to the 6.06 MeV 0+ state has been measured relative to the probability for ground-state transitions. The branching ratio obtained is R = (2.7±0.7)×10−4, in agreement with an earlier result.
