2022, Nuclear Physics ACitation Excerpt :Neutron-induced reaction cross sections on natural strontium target have been studied by a few authors [14,16–19] in the neutron energy range 12.6-15 MeV. The uncertainties reported by Guozhu et al. [14] is 6%, by Rao et al. [16] is 10%, by Husain et al. [17] is 10%, by Bormann et al. [18] is 8% and Strohal et al. [19] is 7%. The cross sections reported by the authors at 13.5–14.9 MeV have uncertainties from 3% to 19%.

We would like to thank Professor H. Neuert and Professor G. Süβmann for their interest in this work and their encouragement.
We also wish to thank the Van de Graaff group of the II. Institut für Experimentalphysik, Hamburg, and Dr. S. Skorka for making the facilities of the generator available and for the assistance during the measurements.
The calculations could be done on the SIEMENS 2002 computer at the Institut für Angewandte Mathematik, Mainz and on the IBM 7090 computer at the Deutsches Rechenzentrum, Darmstadt; these possibilities are gratefully acknowledged.
This work was supported in part by the Bundesministerium für wissenschaftliche Forschung and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft.
