Abstract

The triton spectrum from the n+Li7t+α+n reaction was measured at the neutron energy En = 14.4 MeV using a dE/dx, E counter telescope. The spectrum obtained shows an intensive peak corresponding to the neutron-α final state interaction in the ground state of He5. The continuous part of the spectrum was interpreted in the frame of a sequential decay model. It is shown that the spectrum cannot be explained purely on the assumption of final state interactions α-n in Heg.s.5 and α-t in Li4.63 MeV7∗.
