Abstract
The energy level structure of 19O was studied by means of the 17O (t, p) reaction at an energy of 5.55 MeV and angular distributions were measured. New energy levels at 3.223, 4.328 and 4.396 MeV were observed. It is shown that the levels at 2.775 and 3.153 MeV may be identified with the predicted 9/2+ and 5/2+ states arising from the (d5/23) and (d5/22 s1/2) configurations respectively.
