Elastic Scattering of 21.0-MeV Deuterons by He4

Abstract

The elastic scattering of 21.0-MeV deuterons by He4 has been measured from 16° to 166°. The absolute differential cross sections are tabulated. The data show no indication for the relative maximum found near 60° at 24.85 MeV by Van Oers and Brockman. However, the cross section at the minimum near 55° is larger than the one obtained previously at lower energies.
