The scattering of alpha particles from ${\mathrm{He}}^4$ has been studied for laboratory energies between 3.8 and 12 MeV. Ten angular distributions have been measured over this range of energies as well as excitation curves at the center-of-mass angles 30.6°, 40°, 54.8°, 70.2°, and 90°. A phase-shift analysis of these data has been made and is compared to previously published results.
