Abstract

Excited levels of F19 have been studied by the reaction O18(p, α0)N15 using O18 enriched self-supporting targets of Al2O3. In the whole energy range from 2.2 to 6.08 MeV the proton energy has been determined with an accuracy of 0.25%. For alpha particle detection, solid state detectors were fixed at several angles. Two simultaneously obtained excitation curves at θlab = 165° and 90° are presented. 73 resonances have been observed and tabulated; 43 of them are new. The other resonances were found to be in good agreement with those previously observed in this energy range.
