Abstract

Using a cloud chamber the photodisintegration of N14 was studied with γ-bremsstrahlung radiation with Eγmax = 90 MeV. Photonuclear reaction yields and integral cross sections of the (γ, p), (γ, n) and (γ, np)-reactions as well as the total cross section are determined. The energy and angular distributions of protons and neutrons obtained for the (γ, p), (γ, n) and (γ, np)-reactions are discussed and compared with calculations based on the Wilkinson model. Certain details of the (γ, np)-reaction mechanism are given.
