Abstract
Upper and lower limits have been placed on the internal conversion coefficient of the 479-kev excited state of . The limits are 16.6× and 5.8×, yielding a multipole mixture of (100%-55%) and (0%-45%) for the gamma ray. Photoelectron emission from the source and the background counting rate impose the principal limitations on the accuracy of the experiment.
