Abstract
The differential cross sections for elastic scattering of 5-Mev neutrons from C, O, Al, Fe, Ni, Cu, Mo, Ba, W, and Pb were measured over an angular range between 30° and 150°. The experimental values are compared with the predictions of a diffuse-surface optical model.
