Abstract

Magnetic analysis of the reaction B11(p, α)Be9 at three angles verifies the existence of rather broad excited states of Be9 at 1.75 and 3.02 Mev, the peaks of which almost vanish at 90° where the original investigation showed only the well-known 2.43-Mev state.
