Abstract

Electrostatic analysis of incident and product particles has been used to measure the following reaction energies: Na23(p, α)Ne20 (2.379±0.003 Mev); Na23(p, α)Ne20* (0.745±0.002); Na23(p, p)Na23* (-0.439±0.001 Mev); Mg24(p, p)Mg24* (-1.371±0.002 Mev); Al27(p, p)Al27* (-0.843±0.002 Mev); Al27(p, α)Mg24 (1.594±0.002 Mev); Al27(p, α)Mg24* (0.228±0.003 Mev).
