Abstract

The relative neutron yield from C14(p,n)N14 has been measured for proton energies of 1100 to 2600 kev. Resonances occur at nine proton energies: 1165, 1310, 1664, 1789, 1883, 2024, 2079, 2272, and 2451 kev. The form of the yield curve and the calculated energies of the resonance levels in N15 are in good agreement with the results of others on the inverse reaction, N14(p,n)C14.
