Determination of the cluster-decay branching ratio from a near-threshold molecular state in ¹⁰Be

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹Be(⁹Be, ¹⁰Be)⁸Be, E=45 MeV; measured Eα, Iα, E(⁶He), I(⁶He), E(⁹Be), I(⁹Be), α(⁶He)-coin, and σ of ¹⁰Be population channel from the decay of ¹⁰Be^* to α+⁶He using ΔE-E telescope detectors at CIAE HI-13 tandem accelerator facility. ¹⁰Be; deduced Q-value spectra, resonances, α-decay branching ratio, and α-cluster spectroscopic factor, σ-bond molecular rotational band. Comparison with previous experimental data.

Selective decay from a candidate of the σ-bond linear-chain state in ¹⁴C

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹Be(⁹Be, α¹⁰Be)He, E=45 MeV; measured particle spectra at HI-13 tandem accelerator of CIAE-Beijing facility. ¹⁴C; deduced level energies from reconstruction of forward moving ¹⁰Be+α fragments, resonances, decays to α cluster and ¹⁰Be in its ground state, first 2+, and about 6-MeV state, relative decay strength, indication of a σ-bond linear chain structure in ¹⁴C. Comparison with predictions of improved antisymmetrized molecular dynamics (AMD) theory.

Investigating nuclear shell structure in the vicinity of ⁷⁸Ni: Low-lying excited states in the neutron-rich isotopes ^{80, 82}Zn

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹Be(⁸⁰Zn, ⁸⁰Zn'), (⁸¹Ga, ⁸⁰Zn), (⁸⁰Ga, ⁷⁸Zn), (⁸³Ge, ⁸²Ge), (⁸³As, ⁸²Ge), E=250 MeV/nucleon, [secondary ⁸⁰Zn, ^80,81Ga, ^82,83Ge, ⁸³As and other beams from ⁹Be(²³⁸U, X), E=345 MeV/nucleon primary reaction]; measured yields of reaction products, Eγ, Iγ, Doppler corrected γ rays, γγ-coin, level half-lives by line-shape analysis using BigRIPS separator, ZeroDegree spectrometer for particle identification and detection, and DALI2 array of NaI(Tl) detectors for γ rays at RIBF-RIKEN facility. ^76,78,80,82Zn, ⁸²Ge; deduced levels, J, π, B(E2), configurations. Comparison with previous experimental results, and with calculations using Monte Carlo shell-model (MCSM) and shell-model with JUN45 interaction. Systematics of energies of first 2+ and 4+ states and E(4+/2+) ratios in ^{74,76,78,80,82}Zn, ⁸²Ge, ⁸⁴Se, ⁸⁶Kr.

Comparison with mean-field calculations. Systematics of experimental and theoretical first 2+ energies in N=84, Z=48-66, Z=48, N=50-82, and Z=52, N=54-86 nuclei.
