Acceleration of the d+d reaction in metal lithium acoustic cavitation with deuteron bombardment from 30 to 70 keV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 6Li(d, α)4He, 2H(d, p)3H, [2H accumulated in liquid lithium target], E=30-70 keV; measured particle spectrum, σ(E), liquid lithium target, time-sequence correlations and reaction rates, screening potential in liquid metal, yield ratio as function of deuteron energy, deuteron temperature in cavities. Ultrasonic system to produce Li acoustic cavitation in a vacuum chamber. Enhancement of d+d reaction over 6Li+d. Comparison with Debye screening theory.
