Nature of seniority symmetry breaking in the semimagic nucleus 94Ru

RADIOACTIVITY 95mPd(β+p)[from 9Be(124Xe, F), E=850 MeV/nucleon];measured Eγ, Iγ, Ep, Ip, γγ-coin, pγ-coin. 94Ru; deduced T1/2 of low-lying excited states, B(E2). Comparison to shell-model calculations. Ions were separated with FRS at GSI and implanted in the Advanced Implantation Detector Array (AIDA), composed of three double-sided silicon strip detectors (DSSSDs) situated at the center of the DEcay SPECtroscopy (DESPEC) setup, comprised of a hybrid array of six triple cluster high-purity germanium (HPGe) detectors and 36 LaBr3(Ce) detectors of the FAst TIMing Array (FATIMA).

Mass measurements of neutron-rich indium isotopes for r-process studies

ATOMIC MASSES 125,126,127,127m,128,128m,129,129m,130,130m,131,131m,132,133,133m,134In; measured time-of-flight spectra using TITAN multiple-reflection time-of-flight mass spectrometer (MR-TOF-MS) at ISAC-TRIUMF facility; deduced mass excesses. 127m,128m,129m,130m,131m,133mIn; deduced excitation energies of two isomeric states each in 127In, 128In, 129In, and 131In, and one isomeric state each in 130In and 132In. Comparison with recent measurements, evaluated data in AME-2016 and ENSDF database, and with predictions from theoretical mass models: FRDM2012, HFB-24, WS4, KTUY05, and DZ95. Radioactive indium beams produced in UCx(p, X), E=480 MeV reaction, followed by selective ionization using an ion-guide laser ion source (IG-LIS), and mass separated by ISAC mass separator, and finally sent to MR-TOF-MS system consisting of a helium-filled rf transport system and injection trap, an electrostatic time-of-flight mass analyzer, and a MagneTOF detector. 128,128mIn, 128,128mSn, 128Sb, 128Cs, 128I, 128Te, 128Xe; measured mass spectrum for A=128 nuclei. Systematics of energies of 1/2- isomers in 101,103,105,107,109,111,113,115,117,119,121,123,125,127,129,131,133In. Relevance to future r-process calculations, including the effect of isomers.

Mass measurements of As, Se, and Br nuclei, and their implication on the proton-neutron interaction strength toward the N=Z line

ATOMIC MASSES 69As, 70,71Se, 71Br; measured mass-to-charge ratio spectra using the multiple-reflection time-of-flight mass spectrometer (MR-TOF-MS) at the Fragment Separator (FRS) at GSI; deduced mass excesses and compared to evaluated data in AME-2016, and proton-neutron interaction (δVpn) for odd-odd nuclei along the N=Z line above Z=29. Isotopes produced via fragmentation in 9Be(124Xe, X), E=982 MeV/nucleon, followed by separation of fragments using FRS separator at GSI.

Increased isomeric lifetime of hydrogen-like 192mOs

RADIOACTIVITY 192mOs(IT)[from 9Be(197Au, X), E=478-492 MeV/nucleon]; measured half-life of the highly-charged stored ions using Schottky mass spectrometry in Experimental Storage Ring (ESR) of the isomeric state of 192Os at UNILAC and SIS-18 heavy-ion accelerators of GSI. Discussed increased half-life of the hydrogen-like ions of isomeric state as compared to that of the neutral ions.
