Determination of the spin triplet pΛ scattering length from the final state interaction in the p(pol)p → pK+Λ reaction

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(polarized p, K+Λ), at momentum of 2.7 GeV/c; measured pΛ invariant mass spectrum, particle pK+Λ and pK+ππ- events, analyzing powers using COSY Time-of-Flight (COSY-TOF) detector; deduced Dalitz plot coefficients of associated Legendre polynomials as a function of pΛ invariant mass, spin triplet pΛ scattering length from the final state interaction. Comparison with previous experimental results, and theoretical predictions.
