NUCLEAR REACTIONS H(29F, X)27O/28O, E=235 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products; deduced yields. The hydrogen target was surrounded by the MINOS Time Projection Chamber, SAMURAI spectrometer, RIKEN RI Beam Factory.

RADIOACTIVITY 28O(4n), 27O(3n); measured decay products, En, In; deduced decay energy spectra and schemes from the measured momenta using the invariant-mass technique, resonance parameters. Comparison with the large-scale shell-model calculations using the new chiral effective field theory (EEdf3) interaction.

Revisiting the former nuclear emulsion data for hypertriton

RADIOACTIVITY 3H(3He); analyzed available data; deduced the hypertriton binding energy with nuclear emulsion which were published in 1968 and 1973 using Monte Carlo simulations, the systematic error of the hypertriton binding energy in emulsion measurements has been estimated to be approximately 28 keV.

Prominence of Pairing in Inclusive (p, 2p) and (p, pn) Cross Sections from Neutron-Rich Nuclei

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(96Kr, np)95Kr, E ∼ 250 MeV/nucleon; analyzed available data for fifty-five inclusive single nucleon-removal σ; deduced systematically higher cross sections are found for proton removal from nuclei with an even number of protons as compared to odd-proton number projectiles for a given neutron separation energy.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS C, 197Au(136Te, 136Te'), C(137Te, 136Te), E=139, 140 MeV/nucleon, [secondary 136,137Te beam from 9Be(238U, F), E=345 MeV/nucleon primary reaction]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, σ(θ), exclusive σ following Coulomb excitation to individual excited states using the DALI2 spectrometer array for γ detection, and the BigRIPS and ZeroDegree spectrometers for beam and product identification, respectively at RIBF-RIKEN facility. 136Te; deduced levels, J, π, B(E2) values. Comparison with theoretical predictions, and with previous experimental results. Systematics of B(E2) values for the first 2+ states in 132,134,136Te.

Low-lying structure and shape evolution in neutron-rich Se isotopes

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(89Se, np), (91Br, 2p), (94Br, n2p), (95Br, 2p), E=270 MeV/nucleon, [secondary 89Se, 91,94,95Br beams from 9Be(238U, F), E=345 MeV/nucleon using BigRIPS fragment separator at RIBF-RIKEN facility]; measured particle spectra using time projection chamber (TPC) of the MINOS ensemble, and Doppler-corrected gamma spectra, Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin using DALI2 array of 186 NaI(Tl) detectors. 88,90,92,94Se; deduced levels, J, π, triaxiality; calculated potential energy surfaces for g.s., first and second 2+ states. Comparison with self-consistent beyond-mean-field calculations using Gogny D1S interaction. Systematics of first 2+ states and E(first 4+)/E(first 2+) for N=50-60 even-A Zr, Sr, Kr, and Se isotopes.

Triaxiality of neutron-rich 84, 86, 88Ge from low-energy nuclear spectra

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(85Ge, np), (87As, 2p), (89As, 2p), E≈270 MeV/nucleon reduced to ≈70 MeV/nucleon through the target, [85Ge, 87As and 89As secondary beams from 9Be(238U, F), E=345 MeV primary reaction at RIBF-RIKEN facility]; measured yields of fission fragments using time-of-flight method and BigRIPS magnetic spectrometer, particle spectra using ZeroDegree spectrometer and Doppler-corrected Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin using DALI2 array of NaI detectors. 84,86,88Ge; deduced levels, J, π. Systematics of energies of first 2+ and 4+ states in even-even Z=32-40, N=50-60 nuclei. 86,88Ge; calculated potential energy surfaces in (β2, γ) plane using particle number variation after projection (PN-VAP) approach. Discussed triaxiality in even-even Ge nuclei based upon the observation of a tentative 3+ state in 86Ge. Comparison with shell-model, and symmetry-conserving configuration mixing Gogny (SCCM) model.
