Measurement of residues from the 6Li+Zn reaction: Analysis of fusion phenomena below 7.1 MeV/nucleon

Comparison to the calculations done with of PACE4 and EMPIRE3.2.2 codes. Activation techniques with HPGe detector offbeam measurements. Stacked foils activated at BARC-TIFR pelletron facility (Mumbai).

RADIOACTIVITY 67Ga(EC)[from Zn(6Li, X), E=21-43 MeV]; measured Eγ, Iγ; deduced T1/2, branching ratio for 93.31 keV γ-transition. Discussed the optimization of of medically relevant 67Ga residue production.

Comparison with theoretical model calculations using EMPIRE3.2.2, and PACE4, and with results of previous experimental data for similar systems. Relevance to understanding of fusion-fission (FF) dynamics.

RADIOACTIVITY 67Ga(EC)[from 63Cu(7Li, 2np) and 65Cu(7Li, 4np)]; measured Eγ, Iγ, T1/2 of decay of 67Ga; deduced absolute Iγ of 93.31-keV γ ray from the decay 67Ga with a value about half as that recommended in the ENSDF or NuDat and DDEP databases. 68Ga, 69Ge(EC), (β+)[68Ga from 63Cu(7Li, np) and 65Cu(7Li, 3np), 69Ge from 65Cu(7Li, 3n)]; measured Eγ, Iγ, T1/2 of decays of 68Ga and 69Ge.
