Single-neutron excitations in 18N

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 2H(17N, p), [17N secondary beam from 9Be(18O, X), E=14.7 MeV/nucleon primary reaction], E=13.6 MeV/nucleon; measured E(p), I(p), σ(θ) using HELIOS spectrometer and array at ATLAS-ANL facility. 18N; deduced levels, J, π, l-transfer, spectroscopic factors, spectroscopic strengths, configuration. DWBA analysis of σ(θ) data for (d, p) reaction in inverse kinematics. 17C, 18N, 19O; systematics of low-lying states in N=11 isotones, and comparison with shell-model calculations.
