Double K⁰_s photoproduction off the proton at CLAS

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹H(γ, p2π⁺2π^-), E=2.7-5.1 GeV; measured particle spectra, missing mass, angular distributions, invariant mass spectrum for double K_S⁰ decaying into charged two pairs of pions using the CEBAF Large Acceptance Spectrometer (CLAS) at Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (JLab); deduced Dalitz plots for baryon resonances.

Measurement of the ²⁰F half-life

RADIOACTIVITY ²⁰F(β^-)[from ⁹Be(²²Ne, X), E=150 MeV/nucleon followed by fragment analysis using A1900 fragment separator at NSCL-MSU]; measured γ radiation, β^-γ-coin, half-life of ²⁰F decay using four CsI(Na) detectors from the CAESAR array. Comparison with previous nine experimental values, and pointed out need for a new measurement using a method with different sources of systematic uncertainties, in order to resolve discrepancies in current data.
