NUCLEAR REACTIONS U(p, X)125In/125mIn/126In/126mIn/127In/127mIn/128In/128mIn/129In/129mIn/130In/130mIn, E=480 MeV; measured reaction products and time-of-flight spectra for ions at TRIUMF-ISAC facility using Ion Guide Laser Ion ISAC magnetic mass separator, radio frequency quadrupole cooler and buncher (RFQ), a helium-filled Paul trap, and electron beam ion trap (EBIT).

Precision mass measurements of magnesium isotopes and implications for the validity of the isobaric mass multiplet equation

Comparison with AME-2016 evaluated data, and with ab initio calculations from the valence-space in-medium similarity renormalization group. 27,28,29Mg produced in SiC(p, X), E=480 MeV reaction, followed by laser resonance ionization in a radio-frequency ion guide (IG-LIS).29Mg, 29Cl, 30Mg, 30Ar; analyzed isobaric mass multiplet equation (IMME) in the form of a cubic term. 28S, 29Cl; need to confirm mass excess of 28S and S(n) of 29Cl.

Mass determination near N=20 for Al and Na isotopes

ATOMIC MASSES 31,32Na, 29,34,35Al; measured cyclotron frequencies and mass excesses by time-of-flight ion-cyclotron-resonance (TOF-ICR) technique using the TITAN Penning trap mass spectrometer at ISAC-TRIUMF; deduced S(2n). Radioactive isotopes produced via the isotope separator on-line (ISOL) technique by a 480-MeV proton beam impinging on a UCx target, followed by the separation of sodium isotopes by surface ionization, and aluminum isotopes by the TRIUMF Resonant Ionization Laser Ion Source (TRILIS). Comparison with previous experimental values and mass evaluations. Systematics of S(2n) values for N=18-25 Na, Mg, and Al isotopic chains.

High-precision QEC-value measurement of the superallowed β+ emitter 22Mg and an ab initio evaluation of the A=22 isobaric triplet

ATOMIC MASSES 22Mg; measured time-of-flight quadrupole-excitation and Ramsey-excitation resonance spectra using Ion Trap for Atomic and Nuclear Science (TITAN) at TRIUMF; deduced average frequency ratios for the mass measurements. 22Mg, 22Na; deduced mass excesses and Q value for ϵ decay of 22Mg decay to 22Na. Comparison with AME-2016 and Hardy-Towner evaluations. 22Mg, 22Ne, 22Na; deduced new coefficients of the IMME by using state-of-the-art ab initio shell-model calculations of the IAS energies. Relevance to isospin-symmetry-breaking (ISB) correction in superallowed β decays.
