Comparison with previous experimental results, and with shell-model calculations using the SDPFU, SDPFMU and SDPFK effective interactions for sd-pf valence space nuclei and NuShellX code. Systematics of experimental and theoretical B(E2) values and phenomenological proton and neutron transition matrix elements for the first 2+ states in 36,38,40,42,44,46,48Ar nuclei.
