High-precision quadrupole moment reveals significant intruder component in 3313AL20 ground state

NUCLEAR MOMENTS 31,33Al; measured β-NQR spectra, static electric quadrupole moment by β-detected nuclear quadrupole resonance (β-NQR) method at LISE-GANIL facility. Spin polarized nuclei of 33Al were produced in 9Be(36S, X), E=77 MeV/nucleon reaction. Comparison with large-scale shell model calculations using SDPF-U-MIX interaction. Discussed configurations. Systematics of quadrupole moments for 27,29,31,33Al.
