The 150Nd(3He, t) and 150Sm(t, 3He) reactions with applications to ββ decay of 150Nd

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 150Nd(3He, t), E=140 MeV/nucleon; 150Sm(t, 3He), E=115 MeV/nucleon; measured triton and 3He spectra, excitation energy spectra, differential cross sections, σ(θ) 150Pm; deduced B(GT) strengths; isovector spin-flip giant monopole resonance (IVSGMR). Grand Raiden Spectrometer for (3He, t) and S-800 spectrometer for (t, 3He). Comparison with Quasi-Particle Random Phase Approximation (QRPA) calculations. Application to double β decay of 150Nd.

RADIOACTIVITY 150Nd(2β-); calculated matrix elements for 0νββ and 2νββ decay modes using QRPA calculations. Comparison with experimental data.
