Electromagnetic transition rates in the N=80 nucleus 58138Ce

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 130Te(12C, 4n), E=56 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin level half-lives by γγ(t) at NIPNE accelerator facility. 138Ce; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, B(E1), B(E2), B(M1), branching ratio. Comparison with shell model calculations. B(E2) systematics for even-even Ce and Ba isotopes.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 130Te(12C, 4n)138Ce, E=56 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ(t), γγ-coin using hyperpure HPGe and LaBr3(Ce); deduced levels, J, π, γ transitions, B(E1), B(E2), B(M1), branching ratios, T1/2 using centroid-shift method and fitting exponential decay.
