High-spin spectrum of 24Mg studied through multiparticle angular correlations

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C(16O, α)24Mg, E=62, 68 MeV; measured Eα, Iα, αγ-coin, αγ(θ), αγγ(θ) using Gammasphere array. Experiments carried out at ANL and FSU facilities. 24Mg; deduced levels, J, π, configurations. Comparison with previous studies and shell model calculations.

γ-ray spectroscopy of one-proton knockout from 45Cl

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(45Cl, 44S), [45Cl secondary beam from 9Be(48Ca, X), E=145 MeV/nucleon primary reaction], E=99.6 MeV/nucleon; measured Eγ, Iγ, particle spectra, (particle)γ-coin, inclusive parallel momentum distribution, partial one-proton knockout σ using SeGA array at NSCL. 44S; deduced levels, J, π, partial knockout cross sections, branching ratios. Eikonal-model analysis. Comparison with shell model calculations, and with previous experimental studies.
