Complete sets of polarization transfer observables for the 208Pb (p, n) reaction at 296 MeV and Gamow-Teller and spin-dipole strengths for 208Pb

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 208Pb(polarized p, n), E=296 MeV; measured E(n), I(n), time-of-flight, polarization of neutrons using NPOL3 system, σ(θ), analyzing powers; deduced polarization transfer observables and induced polarization, spin-longitudinal spin-transverse polarized cross sections, Gamow-Teller, isovector spin monopole (IVSM), and spin-dipole (SD) strengths, B(GT). Comparison with distorted-wave impulse approximation calculations with RPA response functions. The spin-dipole (SD) strengths compared with HF+RPA calculations.
