Total absorption study of the β decay of 102, 104, 105Tc

RADIOACTIVITY 102,104,105Tc(β-)[from U(p, F), E=30, 50 MeV followed by mass separation]; measured Eγ, Iγ using the Total Absorption Gamma Spectrometer (TAGS) and JYFLTRAP Penning trap at IGISOL, Jyvaskyla facility; deduced β feedings to levels in 102,104,105Ru, β-strength distributions, Gamow-Teller strengths, average β and γ energies, effects on decay heat calculations. Comparison of deduced β feedings with those from high-resolution γ-ray measurements. Comparison of Gamow-Teller strengths with VAMPIR model calculations. Relevance to decay heat calculations in nuclear reactors.
