First limit on neutrinoless quadruple β decay of 150Nd to the 0+1 state of 150Gd

RADIOACTIVITY 150Nd(4β-); measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin using HPGe detectors for γ detection and plastic scintillators operated in anti-coincidence mode as active veto detectors to search for 0ν4β- decay to the first excited 0+ state in 150Gd at the Kimballton Underground Research Facility (KURF); deduced lower limit for half-life for the 0ν4β- decay mode of 150Nd.
