NUCLEAR REACTIONS 120Sn(70Cu, 70Cu'), [3- and 6- 70Cu beams from U(p, X), E=1.4 GeV], E=2.8 MeV/nucleon; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, particle spectra of scattered projectile and recoiling target nuclei, particle-γ coin. 70Cu; deduced levels, J, π, transition matrix elements, B(E2), configurations. On-Line Isotope Mass Separator (CERN-ISOLDE) facility. Comparison with shell model calculations and with B(E2) values in 68,72Cu.

Comparison with level systematics of 63,65,67,69,71,73,75,77Ga. Collectivity due to g9/2 neutron orbital.
