γ-ray spectroscopy of one-proton knockout from ⁴⁵Cl

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹Be(⁴⁵Cl, ⁴⁴S), [⁴⁵Cl secondary beam from ⁹Be(⁴⁸Ca, X), E=145 MeV/nucleon primary reaction], E=99.6 MeV/nucleon; measured Eγ, Iγ, particle spectra, (particle)γ-coin, inclusive parallel momentum distribution, partial one-proton knockout σ using SeGA array at NSCL. ⁴⁴S; deduced levels, J, π, partial knockout cross sections, branching ratios. Eikonal-model analysis. Comparison with shell model calculations, and with previous experimental studies.
