NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(37Ca, 36Ca), E=60 MeV/nucleon, [secondary 37Ca beam from 12C(40Ca, X), E=95 MeV/nucleon primary reaction]; measured fragment spectra with SPEG spectrometer, Eγ, Iγ using Chateau de Cristal array at GANIL, momentum distributions after one-neutron knock-out. 36Ca; deduced first 2+ state, σ for g.s. and 2+. Comparison with shell-model calculations with USD interaction.

In-beam spectroscopic studies of the 44S nucleus

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(45Cl, 44S), [45Cl secondary beam from C(48Ca, X), E=60 MeV/nucleon primary reaction], E=42 MeV/nucleon; measured energy loss, time of flight, particle spectra, Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (44S)γ-coin at GANIL. 44S; deduced levels, J, π. 45Cl; deduced spin and parity of the ground state. One proton knock-out reaction. Comparison with previous measurements, and with shell-model calculations using SDPF-U interaction.
