Spectroscopy of 61Fe via the neutron transfer reaction 2H(60Fe, p)61Fe

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 2H(60Fe, p), E=27 MeV/nucleon, [60Fe secondary beam from 9Be(64Ni, X), E=64.5 MeV/nucleon primary reaction using LISE3 at GANIL]; Measured E(p), proton σ(θ), Eγ, Iγ, pγ-coin using a DSSSD detector and four telescopes of MUST2 array and four segmented Clover detectors from EXOGAM array. 61Fe; deduced levels, l-transfers, J, π, spectroscopic factors. ADWA analysis. Comparison with shell model calculations. 60Fe(n, γ)61Fe; deduced direct component of capture cross section through the (d, p) transfer reaction in inverse kinematics.
