β-decay study of 150Er, 152Yb, and 156Yb: Candidates for a monoenergetic neutrino beam facility

RADIOACTIVITY 150Er(EC), (β+)[from96Ru(58Ni, 4p), E=307.4 MeV]; 152Yb(EC), (β+)[from 96Ru(58Ni, 2p), E=261 MeV]; 156Yb(EC), (β+)[from103Rh(58Ni, pα), E=307.4 MeV]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γ(x ray)-, γ(positrons)-coin; deduced I(EC), I(EC+β+). Total absorption spectroscopy (TAS)technique. Comparison of EC/β+ branches with those from previous high-resolution studies. Discussed candidate for EC-based monochromatic neutrino beam facility and search for CP violation.
