Recoil distance lifetime measurements in ¹¹⁸Xe

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹³Nb(²⁹Si, 3np), E=135 MeV; measured Doppler-shifted Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. ¹¹⁸Xe levels deduced T_1/2, B(E2). Recoil-distance technique, comparisons with previous results and model predictions.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹¹⁰Pd(¹⁶O, 4n), (¹⁸O, 4n), E=66 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, recoil-distance spectra. ^122,124Xe deduced high-spin levels T_1/2, B(E2). Comparison with algebraic, multishell models.
