Analyzing powers and the role of multistep processes in the 12C(7Li, t)16O reaction

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C(7Li, t), (polarized 7Li, t)16O, E=34 MeV; measured E(t), I(t), σ(θ), T10, T20 and T30 analyzing powers using two ΔE-E telescopes of Si detectors at the FSU tandem accelerator facility. 16O; deduced levels, J, π; calculated Sα spectroscopic amplitudes and relative angular momentum for the various components of the 16O=α+12C radial wave functions from the shell model calculations. Coupled channel Born approximation (CCBA) and DWBA analyses of σ(θ) and analyzing power data.
