RADIOACTIVITY 188,190,192Ta(β-)[from Be(208Pb, X), E=1 GeV/nucleon]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, βγ correlations, and half-lives using GSI Fragment separator, MUSIC ionization chamber; and RISING array. 188,190,192W; deduced levels, J, π, logft. Comparison with interacting boson approximation (IBA-1) calculations for 190W. Z=56-80, N=84-122; discussed systematics of first 2+ and 4+ states, B(E2), and γ deformation parameter in even-even nuclei.
