NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁴³Nd(α, n), E=19 MeV;¹⁴⁴Nd(α, 2n), E=23 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ(θ), γγ-coin using HPGe; calculated levels, J, π, B(E1), B(E2) using IBA-spdf OCTUPOLE code, structure of quadrupole-multipole multiplet using harmonic vibrational model; deduced levels, J, π, γ transitions, B(E1), B(E2), quadrupole moment. Compared with neighbouring nuclei.

Investigation of octupole vibrational states in ¹⁵⁰Nd via inelastic proton scattering (p, p'γ)

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁵⁰Nd(p, p'), E=10.9 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, pγ-coin using YRAST Ball at Yale. ¹⁵⁰Nd; deduced levels, J, π, branching ratios, B(E1) ratios, B(E2) octupole and positive-parity bands. Comparison with interacting boson approximation in sdpf boson space.
