Structure of 13Be probed via secondary-beam reactions

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C(14B, 13Be), (15B, 13Be), [14,15B secondary beams from 9Be(18O, X), E=55 MeV/nucleon primary reaction], E=35 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products, (12Be)n-, (fragment)γ-coin, Iγ using LISE spectrometer, Si-Si-CsI(TI) telescope, DEMON array at GANIL facility; deduced neutron energy spectrum; reconstructed 12Be+n, 6He+n, 12Be+n+n decay spectra from breakup of 14B and 15B. C(14B, X)9Be/10Be/11Be/12Be; measured (particle)n-coin; deduced yields. 13Be; deduced levels, J, π, resonances, width, relative population strengths. Comparison with shell-model calculations, and with previous experimental results.
