Isospin symmetry in the sd shell: Transition strengths in the neutron-deficient sd shell nucleus ³³Ar

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁹⁷Au(³³Ar, ³³Ar'), E=145 MeV/nucleon, [³³Ar secondary beam from ⁹Be(³⁶Ar, X), E=450 MeV/nucleon primary reaction]; measured Eγ, Iγ, (³³Ar)γ-coin, ΔE-E plot for Z identification using FRS separator, EUROBALL HPGe cluster detectors, HECTOR BaF₂ detector array, and LYCCA particle detector array at GSI facility. Coulomb excitation. ^33,36Ar; deduced Doppler-corrected γ spectra, levels, J, π, B(E2) using EUROBALL HPGe cluster detectors and HECTOR detector array. ³³Ar, ³³P; analyzed mirror energy differences (MED), B(E2). Systematics of B(E2) values for mirror pairs for A=18-38 nuclei. Comparison with shell model calculations.
