Coherent photoproduction of the neutral-pion and η-meson on the deuteron at incident energies below 1.15 GeV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 2H(γ, π0ηd), E<1.15 GeV; measured reaction products, angular distributions, Eγ, Iγ, deuteron spectra, (particle)γ-coin; deduced σ(E), σ(θ, E), ηd scattering parameters, invariant mass. Comparison to other experimental data and model estimations. FOREST setup consisting of three different electromagnetic calorimeters (EMCs): 192 pure cesium iodide (CsI) crystals for the forward EMC, 252 lead scintillating-fiber sandwich modules for the central, and 62 lead-glass Cherenkov counters for the backward. Bremsstrahlung beam from the STretcher Booster (STB) ring synchrotron at the Research Center for Electron Photon Science (ELPH), Tohoku University, Japan.

Resonance-like structure near the ηd threshold in the γd → π0ηd reaction

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 2H(γ, π0ηd), E=0.75-1.15 GeV; measured final-state particles, total and differential σ(E) as a function of the incident photon energy, angular distributions for π0 with respect to the photon beam using FOREST detector consisting of three different electromagnetic calorimeters (EMCs) at the Research Center for Electron Photon Science (ELPH), Tohoku University; deduced S-wave resonance states and widths, strong enhancement near the ηd threshold. Comparison with previous experimental data.
