Direct observation of an isomeric state in 98Rb and nuclear properties of exotic rubidium isotopes measured by laser spectroscopy
NUCLEAR REACTIONS U(p, x)Rb, E=500 MeV; measured Rb isotopes using TITAN mass trap or optical spectrum using laser spectroscopy. 98Rb deduced isomeric state, hyperfine coefficients, isotope shifts. 75,76,78Rb deduced magnetic dipole moment, electric quadrupole moment, deformation, charge radii, isotopic shifts, g-factors.
ATOMIC PHYSICS U(p, x)Rb, E=500 MeV; measured E(optical γ); deduced isotopic shifts, charge radii. Compared with published muonic and optical data.

Shape coexistence and evolution in 98Sr
RADIOACTIVITY 98Rb(β-)[from U(p, F), E=500 MeV at TRIUMF-ISAC]; measured Eγ, Iγ, I(ce), βγ-, β(ce)-, γγ-, γ(ce)- and ce(ce)-coincidences using 8π array of 20 Compton-suppressed HPGe detectors for γ rays, ten plastic scintillators for β detection, and a set of five Si(Li) detectors (PACES) for conversion electrons. 98Sr; deduced levels, absolute intensities of γ transitions, B(E0), B(E2). Comparison with two-state mixing model for interpretation of ρ2(E0) value, deduction of mixing of the two low-lying 0+ and 2+ states, and deformation parameters.
