Evolution of deformation in the neutron-rich krypton isotopes: The ⁹⁶Kr nucleus

Systematics of first 2+ states, ratios of energies of first 2+ and 4+ states, quadrupole deformation parameter for even-even nuclei in N=38-64, Z=36-44 region. Comparison with various theoretical model calculations.
