Seniority, collectivity, and B(E2) enhancement in ⁷²Ni

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²³⁸U(⁷⁶Ge, X), E=530 MeV; ¹⁹⁸Pt, ²⁰⁸Pb(⁷⁶Ge, X), E=450 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, isomer half-life using Gammasphere array. ⁷²Ni; deduced levels, J, π, B(E2). Comparison with shell-model calculations, and level systematics of ^70,76Ni.
