NUCLEAR REACTIONS 71Ga(3He, t)71Ge, E=420 MeV; measured triton spectra, σ(θ) using Grand Raiden spectrometer at RCNP-Osaka facility. 71Ge; deduced levels, J, π, IAS, Gamow-Teller B(GT) transition strengths from analysis based on theoretical form factors and one-body transition densities from the shell-model code NUSHELLX with the GXPF1a interaction in full fp-model space. DWBA analysis of σ(θ) data. 71Ga(ν, e-); deduced solar neutrino capture rates as function of excitation energy in 71Ge from B(GT) values.
