Multiple band structures in ⁷⁰Ge

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁵⁵Mn(¹⁸O, 2np), E=50 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO) using Compton-suppressed Ge array consisting of three Clover detectors and seven single-crystal detectors at John D. Fox Superconducting Accelerator Facility at Florida State University. ⁷⁰Ge; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarities, K=2 γ band, negative-parity bands, band crossings, moment of inertia plots, staggering; calculated Routhians. Comparison with shell-model calculations using extended pairing +quadrupole-quadrupole interaction with monopole interactions (EPQQM) as effective interaction. Systematics of moment of inertia and staggering for γ bands in ^{66,68,70,72,74,76}Ge nuclei.
