Single particle configurations in ⁶¹Ni

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁵⁹Co(⁷Li, nα), (⁷Li, X), E=22-24 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO and ADO), γγ(linear polarization) using 11 Compton-suppressed Ge clover detectors at the Pelletron LINAC facility of TIFR, Mumbai. ⁶¹Ni; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarities, configurations. Comparison with previous experimental data, and with large basis shell-model calculations.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE ⁶¹Ni; calculated levels, J, π, representative and dominant partitions of wave functions of positive and negative parity states using large basis shell-model with JJ44BPN and JUN45 interactions. Comparison with experimental data.
