Low-lying dipole strength in the N=28 shell-closure nucleus ⁵²Cr

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁵²Cr(γ, γ'), E<9.9 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γ(θ), integrated cross sections using bremsstrahlung beam at the superconducting Darmstadt linear electron accelerator S-DALINAC. ⁵²Cr; deduced levels, PDR, J, π, Γ₀, B(E1), B(M1), reduced transition widths. Comparison with microscopic QPM calculations.
